Batman Vs. Superman Movie: 10 Villains That Would Pay Subtle Tribute To Nolan's Trilogy

8. The Reaper

It doesn't get much minor than this, but since subtlety is the name of the game here The Reaper can certainly scythe his way into the list. There's been multiple Reapers in the Batman rogue gallery but the one I'm talking about is the third version, as seen in the 1991 comic Batman: Full Circle. There's a Pre-Crisis Reaper whose WWII connections would make him feel slightly outdated in Snyder's modern take while Judson Caspian as the second version of the Reaper would have fit perfectly in a pre-Nolan time. The third Reaper is Joe Chill Jr., the son of the man who killed Bruce Wayne's parents. In Nolan's Batman Begins, Chill murders the parents and then gets assassinated by one of Falcone's hitmen. In Batman Vs. Superman, it would pretty cool if Snyder gave a discreet tip of the hat to Nolan's Batman by including this Chill Jr. either in name or in full costume €“ a costume so great you'd wish he beat up Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor in the first ten minutes and became the film's main baddie.
