2. Max Martini
Age: 43 I think this is an inspired choice, even if your average audience member isnt that aware of Martini. In fact, his recent role as the older, wiser half of the Aussie Jaeger team in Pacific Rim might be the first time many noticed him, despite playing plenty of motley dudes in the likes of Saving Private Ryan, Revenge, Castle, and Hawaii Five-O. Martini is another guy whos capable of channeling the never-say-die vibe of Batman that needs to come through if hes going to go toe-to-toe with the Last Son of Krypton. That Martini is in the running may also imply that the role will be something closer to a supporting role than an actual headliner, on par with Superman. Its a little difficult to ascertain right now what a decision like this might result in, but I certainly would be up for seeing what Martini, under Snyders direction, could bring to the role.
