Baywatch Review: 2 Ups & 8 Downs

1. It's Incredibly Easy Viewing

All in all, Baywatch is an incredibly easy sit. It's a typical brainless comedy people tend to watch on boozy Friday nights or bored Sundays when they want something undemanding starring charming, attractive people.

It's not aggressively annoying for the most part and delivers some basic joys, even if the film quickly falls apart under any real scrutiny. Still, for many, the simplicity of its cheesy homages to the original show and a cast kitted out in swimsuits will deliver all that they want and expect.

It's low-effort enough that there's not much incentive to actually pay good money to see it now, but if streamed at home in a few months, it's easy to see the appeal.

What are your expectations for Baywatch? Shout them out in the comments!

Stay at home dad who spends as much time teaching his kids the merits of Martin Scorsese as possible (against the missus' wishes). General video game, TV and film nut. Occasional sports fan. Full time loon.
