In The Original

Mrs Potts' family is limited to Chip and his brothers and sisters. There's no mention of any more members who weren't cursed.

In The Remake

Rather tragically, at the start of the film Belle greets Jean the Potter (played by Gerard Horan) who remarks that he's forgotten something and can't remember what. Later, it's revealed that he is actually Mrs Potts' husband and Chip's father, and the thing he's forgotten is his family.
