Before Skyfall: 10 Most Memorable Bond Villain Henchmen

Behind every Bond film, there is a great Bond villain. Behind every villain is an array of henchmen, many of which are both disposable and forgettable at the same time, being killed on many occasions, without so much as a line of dialogue to distinguish them from their counterparts. There are several henchmen, however, that rank alongside the likes of Goldfinger and Blofeld as memorable adversaries to 007, matching Bond physically and/or intellectually and posing a serious threat to his safety, or stealing every scene in which they appear through their humorous actions or sheer appeal. As Skyfall looms, bringing with it new additions to 007's extensive rogues gallery, here are ten henchmen from past films who live long in the memory, and whose descriptions may include spoilers for the films in which they appear.

10. Nick Nack (Herve Villechaize - The Man With The Golden Gun)

Though something of a joke villain due to his short stature, Nick Nack serves as effective comic relief to the cold demeanour of his employer, Scaramanga. Though not the most loyal of henchmen, regularly hiring assassins in an attempt to kill his master, who sees it as a way of honing his skills rather than a threat, his quirky personality makes him stand out from the countless amount of bland adversaries that Bond has faced. Just be sure to ignore the (now rather un-PC) scene where Bond subdues him by stuffing him in a suitcase.
