Whistle touts the intriguingly deranged premise that, after an Aztec death whistle is blown, anyone who hears it will be hunted down and killed by a manifestation of however they're supposed to die in the future.

And in the case of Dean (Jhaleil Swaby), it's made abundantly clear that he was destined to die in a car accident, considering the totally insane way he perishes in his own bedroom.

All while his parents desperately try to break into his bedroom, Dean is hoisted up into the air with tremendous force and his limbs contorted and broken as the car wreck's injuries are inflicted upon him.

Dean's parents finally break into the room just in time to see their son torn into what can be best described as a pile of red meat. 

Considering that Whistle really wasn't going hard enough up to this point, this kill was almost good enough to redeem the mediocre prior hour.
