20 Totally INSANE Moments From Recent Horror Movies
4. Nikki Kills Sarah - Obsession
Picking just one WTF-worthy moment from Curry Barker's Obsession sure isn't easy, but the one to rule them all surely has to be the heart attack-inducing demise of Bear's (Michael Johnston) co-worker Sarah (Megan Lawless) at the hands of his supernaturally obsessive "girlfriend" Nikki (Inde Navarrette).
When Bear meets up with Sarah at a park later in the movie, we know it's a foregone conclusion that Nikki will soon rock up and start causing all manner of trouble.
Yet that doesn't really make the moment itself any less jolting, as during the heart-to-heart between the two, Nikki runs up to the side of the car with a brick, smashes the window, and then slams Sarah's head onto said brick, absolutely destroying her face and obviously killing her.
This is just a horrifyingly intense sequence which was apparently even worse originally, with the MPA ultimately asking Barker to remove half-a-dozen smashes in order to avoid the dreaded NC-17 rating.
