7. Toy Story 4
Release Date: June 21st
After a nine year absence, the toys are back in town. This year's Toy Story will be the 4th and supposedly final entry in the series. That said, audiences also thought 2010's Toy Story 3 was the conclusion of a trilogy, meaning this franchise may always draw crowds and may never really end.
Best Case: Studios with better track records than Pixar are few and far between, if they even exist. The best case isn't far removed from what is likely, meaning Toy Story 4 becomes the best animated film of 2019, grosses a billion dollars and shows the franchise still has room to grow after its original trilogy.
Worst Case: Look, the first three films were clearly meant to be a trilogy. Although this flick is a guaranteed success, it could be unnecessary and a largely hollow experience. The film feels empty and disappoints the massive audience it will surely attract.
Prediction: Much like Finding Dory and The Incredibles 2, Toy Story 4 won't quite reach the quality of its predecessors. However, much like most Pixar products it won't have a problem making us laugh, cry and spend our money.
