Keep in mind when you see Big Hero 6: this isn't just a Disney movie, it's a Marvel movie; and what's a Marvel movie without a cameo from the legendary Stan Lee? Indeed, there is a brief cameo by the man, the myth, the legend in the form of Fred's family portrait. He's Fred's dad and is on vacation on the family private island. Seeing an animated Stan Lee is basically a Marvel fan's dream come true. And the only thing better than a family portrait with Stan Lee? An after credits scene with Stan the Man, of course! If you stay for the after credits scene like most like minded Marvel fans would, you see Fred talking to his dad in the family portrait, which opens up to reveal nothing other than his dad's secret superhero lair. If it were anybody but Stan Lee, the idea of finding your father's superhero tights is pretty disturbing, made even worse by your dad appearing in the animated flesh and telling you how he... uhm... "recycles." It was easily the greatest after credits scene Disney's ever done, and the Stan Lee cameo made it so much better. It's vastly superior to Frozen's post-credit disclaimer that the views of Kristoff regarding eating one's boogers do not reflect the views of the Walt Disney Company.
