1. The Hilariously Awful Plot Twist

No spoilers here, of course, but there is one big reveal that hasn't quite been given away by the trailers, though if you're looking close enough there's a chance you could figure it out.

Though probably not, given that this third act twist comes so utterly out of left-field and changes the nature of the movie so fundamentally that few are likely to see it coming.

The twist basically shifts the movie's logical goalposts while wrapping its big reveal within yet more howlingly unsubtle social commentary.

You'll probably laugh, but without the self-aware tone to imply the filmmakers are also in on the joke, it's just a jarring note on which to close things out.

So, Black Christmas 2019 is an abject failure, then, but here's what little it actually gets (mostly) right...
