Black Panther Review: 10 Best Moments
What a wild ride.
Black Panther is finally released in cinemas around the world, and it's safe to say it's one of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's strongest efforts to date, a nuanced, character-driven action extravaganza that skates clear of many of the MCU's more commonly-criticised elements.
Picking just ten fantastic moments isn't easy considering the litany of unforgettable scenes Ryan Coogler and his electric cast have cooked up, but these are the action beats that hit the hardest, the laughs that slayed the most, and those unexpectedly affecting character moments that reminded fans how nuanced and thoughtful superhero cinema can be.
Needless to say, Black Panther has thrown the gauntlet down to every upcoming MCU film, and short of a miracle, it's likely to endure as one of the series' best offerings for the foreseeable future. These scenes - and countless others - ensure that the movie lives up to its status as a cultural "moment", and is a legitimately great comic book tentpole in its own right...
