2. That Transformers Sound Effect

Michael Bay has a lot to answer for - which almost goes without saying, frankly - but it's a terrible shame that we get to get one of his patented Transformers sound effects in a trailer that otherwise seems to avoid cliches so well.

When we see the car flip moment in slow motion, there's a distinct Robots In Disguise feel to the effect used there, and it's distractingly poor. Sure, it's a fairly trivial thing, but why bother to draw a parallel with such an inferior franchise that so many people will immediately pick up on?
