8. Will Melina Become Iron Maiden?
Aside from David Harbour and Florence Pugh, Rachel Weisz was also introduced to the MCU at San Diego Comic Con in 2019, portraying Melina Vostokoff in the movie. Like Natasha and Yelena, Melina is another graduate of the Red Room, and appears to be part of Black Widow's team set to bring Taskmaster down.
However, there may be more to this character than it first appears, particularly if the MCU iteration of Melina follows in the villainous footsteps of her comic book counterpart.
The character became Iron Maiden in the source material, sporting an metal suit similar to that of Iron Man that lent her an arsenal of weaponry and a cocoon-like defence system that made her very difficult to defeat.
This could be used to great effect in a couple of different ways by Marvel Studios. Either Iron Maiden could remain a good guy and potentially fight with the Avengers as something of an Iron Man replacement, or she could go more accurate to the comics and become a villain, potentially reforming later in the franchise, joining the Thunderbolts when the team is inevitably introduced to the MCU.
