Black Widow: 21 WTF Moments

Fans spent literally years speculating on the identity of the movie's secondary villain, Taskmaster, with most assuming it would either end up being Rick Mason (O-T Fagbenle) or Melina.

But as it turns out, Taskmaster is actually Dreykov's daughter Antonia (Olga Kurylenko), who survived Nat's bombing of her and her father, albeit with severe burns to her face and a boatload of trauma.

Her father implanted a chip in her neck which enhances her combat abilities, allowing her to imitate the fighting styles of other people, while also subjecting her to the same mind control as the other Widows.

It's an interesting reveal, albeit one the script sadly doesn't do much interesting with, because neither Taskmaster nor Antonia herself have anything beyond the most shallow, surface-level characterisation.
