Black Widow: 8 Characters That Should Appear

While it seems like a no-brainer to have Nick Fury somewhere in the film, it would be absolutely mind-boggling not to have Clint "Hawkeye" Barton make an appearance. Nat and Clint are best friends with a lot of history behind them, and despite having shared the screen in a number of films to date, it feels like we've barely scratched the surface of their relationship.

Of course, during the time between Civil War and Infinity War, Clint was under house arrest, even wearing his ankle monitor when the Decimation occurred, and it's hard to imagine Nat would let him risk breaking the deal he made by turning up at his home or asking him for help. But, again, if the film takes a look at her past, Clint needs to be there, since it was his decision to recruit her rather than kill her that changed the entire course of her life.

Even if all we get is a phone call between the two, with Nat simply needing to talk with her best friend, it'd still be better than nothing at all. These two have known each other for so long and mean so much to one another that leaving him out completely would simply feel egregious, and if only one character from this list was to make it into the film, Hawkeye would have to be the one.
