Black Widow: 8 Characters That Should Appear

While we've already covered who could appear if the film dives into Nat's Red Room-related past, the other elephant in the room is S.H.I.E.L.D. Considering her ties to the organization, and her close relationship with Nick Fury, it seems inevitable that Nick would be present somewhere in her big solo film.

In the past, of course, we could see what it was like for Nat to come into the organization following her recruitment at the hands of Clint Barton, and the certainly rocky initial meeting between her and Fury. And if the film doesn't want to spend time diving into that, it'd also be hard to imagine that Fury wouldn't turn up to help her while she's on the run, particularly as she's one of the oldest known friends he has left in the MCU.

Even further, touching upon her early S.H.I.E.L.D. years could open the door for more cameos, like Agent Coulson, a young Maria Hill, or - if we're dreaming big - Agent Melinda May. Ultimately, though, if anyone should pop up, it should be the man himself simply for how important of a figure he has been in her life.
