4. Vampire Movies Would Need More Violence
People like vampires because they're violent. Like zombies (which have no shot of making a comeback, as no form of zombies have been successful since that mall-movie in the '70's), they literally feast on humans for sustenance. Blade, early reports have indicated, even has a scene in which vampires bathe in the blood of humans during a rave. Dousing themselves in human blood while listening to techno music? That is going to be a feat that's hard to top. But if a movie wants to be about vampires
and be financially successful, it's critical that they ramp up the violence. Maybe heads being cut off and thrown in a pool while a child worries about having his eye gouged out. That's a movie that would deserve critical and financial success. Otherwise, the only other option would be a series of PG-13 movies without any excitement.
