4. The Three Young Leads Are Fantastic

Though Cena and Barinholtz steal practically every scene they're in, the three young leads - Kathryn Newton, Geraldine Viswanathan and Gideon Adlon - do fantastically convincing, charming work as the young women on the eve of just maybe losing their virginities.

Newton - who appeared briefly in Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri last year - is luminous as Julie, the conventionally attractive, popular girl who wants her first sexual experience to be perfect. Viswanathan, meanwhile, is a hoot as Kayla, the outgoing, boozy, drug-taking member of the group, and Adlon's Sam is the snarky, cynical one.

Both together and separately, the actresses are superbly cast, and with all the will in the world the film's probable success should do wonders for their careers.
