7. Vin Diesel's Wooden Performance

Bloodshot Vin DieseL
Columbia Pictures

Nobody's going to claim that Vin Diesel is the best actor in the world, but he can be effective when used correctly as a wise-cracking blunt instrument.

Sadly because Bloodshot actually gives his character, Marine Ray Garrison, some decent dramatic meat to chew on, Diesel clearly struggles, routinely failing to register even a flicker of emotion.

This is exactly the one-dimensional Vin Diesel performance you're probably expecting: he growls and shouts a lot, he beats up the bad guys, and...that's pretty much it. He's basically sleepwalking through this, made all the worse by the far more skilled actors surrounding him.

If nothing else, his flat work here pretty much confirms why the actor has struggled to find major box office success outside of his mainstay franchises.
