8. Christoph Waltz Playing Blofeld Is Still Just A Rumour

Over the last few days, a number of movie websites began to run the story that Christoph Waltz was "confirmed" to be playing a new interpretation of classic Bond villain Ernst Stavro Blofeld. However, it's worth taking these claims with a grain of salt to date, because despite what these websites say, it is far from confirmed. While Waltz has won a role in the production, some sources still maintain that he may be playing a more ambiguous character, with the original leaker claiming that, "It€™s not immediately evident whether the part€™s friend, or foe, or a bit of both." Could Waltz actually be playing a shady spy or agent of some kind who comes to blows with Bond throughout the film? There's still a week or so before fans will actually know for sure, and while it's certainly quite possible that Waltz will be playing Blofeld, it's best to wait for something approaching an official announcement to avoid disappointment. Needless to say, if it's true, that's certainly plenty reason to get excited...
