In order to keep things fresh, the Bond films try not to repeat their set-piece locales too often, though one of the more common (and always-welcomed) scenarios is some sort of a chase or showdown in the snow. It always looks cool (no pun intended), and allows Bond to show off some more unconventional skills, such as the bats**t insane ski chase at the start of The Spy Who Loved Me, Bond's snowboard escape in A View to a Kill, or that bonkers dash in a cello case in The Living Daylights. The snow chases are always a fun excuse to change locale and show off some exotic cinematography, and though we don't want to see Daniel Craig riding down a snowy hill holding a musical instrument any time soon, a gritty snow chase resembling the one from Inception could certainly go down a treat. We've been long overdue a snow chase for a while now (at least one that didn't suck), and hopefully Bond 24 will deliver the chilly goods.
