Bond 25: 10 Things That We Need In The Next 007 Film
1. Tribute To Sir Roger Moore
Just as Star Wars: The Last Jedi concluded with a touching dedication to its original princess, Carrie Fisher, so too does the next Bond film need to acknowledge 007’s longest serving ambassador.
Sir Roger Moore passed away last May at the age of 89, leaving generations of Bond fans devastated. By the time the next Bond film premieres, tentatively scheduled for October 2019, more than two years will have passed since Moore’s death.
His contribution to the survival of cinematic Bond can never be forgotten, and as the first film to be released after his passing, Bond 25 cannot forget to pay its respects.
A simple, heartfelt message devoting the film to his memory is essential for a man who served James Bond so faithfully even after his time in the role concluded. The next film will in all likelihood mark the end of Daniel Craig’s tenure, and while fans will remain grateful for his tremendous performance in the role, we’ll be equally watchful for acknowledgement of an actor who in so many ways was responsible for the franchise’s continued endurance.
