Bond 25: 5 Things From Previous Daniel Craig Films It Must Continue (And 4 It Must Avoid)

6. CONTINUE: Jeopardy At The Top

Daniel Craig-James Bond
Columbia Pictures/MGM

Nothing is clean-cut in the Daniel Craig Bond movies, which is precisely why we love them. So isn't it time we saw the big Knight-in-shining-armour of MI6 taking a hit in the same way Bond generally does? It was a concept well-covered in Skyfall. Remember the big old explosion caused by the central villain, Raoul Silva, which later revealed moral failings in MI6's operational methodology?

Okay let's be honest here: with MI6 being the proud front to the British empire, its potential destabilisation at a profound and irreparable level could be an extremely relevant topic. The turbulent saga of the current real-life UK government and its decision-making is well known, ongoing, and not set to become any less complicated in the years to come.

If played right, MI6 could be the perfect fictitious representation of this, if a little more on the espionage side of things. It could make for some sterling viewing if we saw Ralph Fiennes' 'M' break a real sweat for the first time in his career. With MI6 in jeopardy, it would truly then be up to Bond and Bond alone.
