Very little was known about Boy Erased before the trailer dropped, but now that it has, there's one thing that we can all be certain of: the film has the potential to receive multiple Academy Award nominations.

With actors like Nicole Kidman and Russell Crowe playing leading roles in the piece, it's no surprise that the film is generating Oscars buzz, and after seeing a little of their performances in the trailer, the two actors are undoubtedly going to be considered for nominations. And we can't forget Lucas Hedges who, if the trailer is anything to go by, will deliver as heartfelt performance as Garrard.

In addition to being behind both the script and the direction, Joel Edgerton plays a supporting role in Boy Erased, so it's very possible that the actor will be getting multiple nominations for his work.
