Captain America: Civil War - 10 Biggest Moments Of Foreshadowing
7. The Wood-Chopping Scene (Avengers: Age Of Ultron)
When you consider that Avengers: Age of Ultron was the final Avengers get-together before the titular team battle it out with each other in Civil War, everyone was getting on remarkably well. Heck, some characters who even hated other members of the Avengers were friends by the end of the movie (Wanda Maximoff and Tony Stark, for instance). Moreover, the two opposing team-leaders in Captain America: Civil War - Captain America himself and Tony Stark - departed from each other's company more than amicably at the end. You could even say that a bromance had developed between the pair. But there were hints of an impending rivalry. Take the wood-chopping scene at Clint Barton's farm as an example. A discussion between the pair became very heated when Stark said he didn't trust Cap, based on the super soldier not having a dark side and coming away from the vision imposed on him by Scarlet Witch unscathed. The resulting argument - depicting their opposing views on Stark and Banner's work on the Ultron programme - was reminiscent of their forthcoming opposing views on the accords.
