Captain America: Civil War - 10 Biggest Moments Of Foreshadowing

5. "Put On The Suit, Let's Go A Few Rounds..." (The Avengers)

The very first inkling of any meaningful heat between the two men who will lead the opposing teams in Captain America: Civil War - Steve Rogers and Tony Stark - came on board the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier in 2012's The Avengers. All of the Avengers were in a room with Loki's sceptre and its influence was making them all a little cranky. When Stark suggested that Bruce Banner should "let off a little steam" in the hopes of seeing the Hulk, Rogers objected and the two began to argue, criticising each other in various ways - which was foreshadowing their opposing views in the Civil War movie - with Rogers even suggesting that Stark "put on the suit" so they could "go a few rounds". Of course, it was at that point that Loki's army attacked, prompting the pair - and the other Avengers - to come together to fend them off. This is, therefore, also foreshadowing the Infinity War movies, in which the Avengers will have to reform when adversity strikes - this time in the form of Thanos.
