5. Martin Freemans Identity
Finally, a good look at Martin Freeman in character! Of course, a far away glance at him in a suit is hardly revelatory but it does tell us a few things. Considering he appears in a suit, standing with Sharon Carter in what looks to be some sort of important facility, it seems to confirm the rumours that hes playing a government official of some sort. But just a glimpse of him in character still doesnt answer who hes playing. He could be Henry Peter Gyrich, Everett K. Ross or even Norman Osborn. Ross in particular seems interesting given his ties to Wakanda, as well a potential familial relationship that could be constructed with the recently returned Thunderbolt Ross. In the grand scheme of things, whichever secondary character Martin Freeman is playing is not going to have a huge impact of the film. Nevertheless, it remains one of the biggest mysteries still surrounding the production, and this trailer has done nothing to change that.
