4. Baron Zemo
Despite the conflict between Captain America and Iron Man being played up, its important to remember that there is an actual villain to the piece. Youd be forgiven for forgetting that though, since Baron Helmut Zemo, played by Daniel Brühl, was nowhere to be seen in this introductory footage. There was, however, a lot of action happening in Germany, particularly at the Leipzig airport. This is significant because Zemo is a German character, which hardly seems like a coincidence. Of course, this absence is completely in-keeping with the character. He's a mastermind who works from the shadows so it makes perfect sense that he wasnt seen in the trailer. In fact, its entirely possible that he wont feature all that prominently in the film itself; instead it's his influence which permeates through the plot. Marvel films are already notorious for underusing their villains, and in this case, with Iron Man already acting as an antagonist, it seems even less likely that Zemo will be a huge player.
