3. Chris Evans Is Keen To Show Up In Iron Man 4
If you've read the Civil War comic book, you'll know that it ends with Captain America being arrested, leading to him being later gunned down and killed in an epilogue issue. Chris Evans has talked in other recent interviews about shooting Avengers: Infinity War next year, so all the signs are pointing to this movie not following the source material and Steve Rogers making it the the post-credits scene alive and well. To further emphasise that, Evans was quick to talk about where he'd like to see Cap go next, specifically sharing his desire to return the favour to Robert Downey Jr. by showing up in Iron Man 4 (Iron Man: Civil War II?) if it happens. "Id be happy to be in an Iron Man movie," the actor teased. "We've been in so many movies together, the titles are almost, at this point, inconsequential. We all win!" Downey, Jr., meanwhile, sounds like he's struggling to get used to be a supporting player rather than the star of one of these solo outings. "It just hit me yesterday, now that were six weeks in, that they were actually over his shoulder coming out of the elevator, not over my shoulder watching him come out of the elevator," he explained. "I was like, oh, thats right, its his point of view." The fact that Iron Man isn't the focus of this movie should come as a huge relief to those who have spent the past year or so worrying that the Armoured Avenger would end up overshadowing Captain America. This wasn't the only interesting comment made by Evans about Captain America's future either. Asked about the possibility of romance between Steve Rogers and Sharon Carter, he said: "I think he's looking. You know, I think he's certainly open to it. Sharon is obviously relevant, but ... we dont have to tie it up in one movie. So they have time." That doesn't sound like someone who knows they're being killed off in Act 3...
