Captain America: Civil War - 10 Most Exciting Potential Post-Credit Scenes
2. Norman Osborn Emerges
Ever since Marvel re-acquired the rights to Spider-Man, it’s been abundantly clear he's become incredibly important to their future plans. They re-jigged their entire release schedule to accommodate his solo film and put him into the first possible film they could. Naturally, they would salivate at the opportunity to excite fans about the upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming by hyping it up after Civil War.
There's a lot of ways to quickly build Spider-Man's world in a post-credits scene. They could just show someone like J. Jonah Jameson or introduce Mary-Jane at school but there’s another character that’s just as recognisable and far more sinister that they could include instead.
Norman Osborn is going to be a big player in the MCU at some point. He’s had a huge involvement in some of Marvel's biggest crossover events and it would make sense to introduce him sooner rather than later. So why not use their biggest stage to unveil Spider-Man's greatest enemy?
It’s possible Marvel could also include the character without even showing him. After all, a faceless figure watching Spider-Man's debut could be just as exciting. Just imagine if this was the real role that Michael Keaton had been up for.
