Captain America: Civil War - 10 Theories On How It All Ends

6. Cap Quits And Goes Into Hiding (With Hulk)

Another alternative outcome for Steve Rogers outside of prison and death is to go on the run, and it just so happens he has a friend busy getting a nice dark green tan in Fiji. At the end of Avengers: Age Of Ultron, Hulk stops the eponymous villain from escaping when he leaps into the quinjet he is fleeing in and rips him out, though instead of turning off Tony Stark€™s stealth-tech as instructed by Black Widow, Hulk opts for radio silence and allows the jet to carry him into the unknown. SHIELD director Nick Fury later confirms to Widow (who is well and truly smitten with Banner by now) that the quinjet came down over water somewhere near Fiji and tells her to simply wait for a postcard. If she was to share the location of Hulk€™s assumed hideout with Cap, Banner could set him up with a place on the beach front where the pair could both lay low for a while, Cap licking his wounds and Hulk trying to address his anger issues. This, of course, would mean that Cap would more than likely be joining Hulk as he teams up with Thor in the God of Thunder's third film Ragnarok, which is both the best and worst part of this far-out theory. As awesome as the prospect of Cap tossing his shield around Asgard is, the chances of it becoming a reality are slim - Hulk actor Mark Ruffalo recently revealed that Ragnarok will be something of a buddy flick with him and Chris Hemsworth's Thor. Sorry Cap, but sometimes three is a crowd.
