3. Crossbones Is The Main Villain

One of the more under-utilised aspects of The Winter Soldier was S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Brock Rumlow, played by the ever-brilliant Frank Grillo. He comes to blows with Cap throughout the film, and of course, is brutally disfigured during the film's action finale, quite clearly leading to his transformation into the famed comic book villain Crossbones. Sources also report that he will be the movie's main villain outside of the more ambiguous Civil War conflict. Of playing the part, Grillo said, " was only a taste of what€™s to come with the next film, and I couldn€™t be more humbled and excited. He€™s a badass. He is just vicious." It will certainly be interesting to see how literal Civil War is with adapting Crossbones' iconic comic book look: will his mask be included as is, or will it be altered to appear a little less theatrical?
