10. Spider-Man Is Still Marvel's Secret Weapon

If you're expecting Spider-Man to appear in any of the Civil War trailers in a substantial way, now is probably the time to start adjusting your expectations. There may have been some suggestions that the new wall crawler's role was more expanded than initially thought (since he's filmed in two locations, and his new Aunt May is appearing), but he's too much of a blue chip for any more than the slightest hint of how he's involved to be included in any of the trailers. So inevitably, Spidey was absent from this new footage. Speculation has freshly suggested Spidey will have been established in the MCU for a year as Civil War starts, and that he might fight Captain America, but for now most people are just making informed (or otherwise) guesses.
