9. Black Widow MAY Be A Double Agent

There has been much speculation about the presence of a double agent in one of the Civil War superhero teams since they were revealed. Somewhat inevitably, attention swiftly turned to Black Widow, considering her allegiance to Hawkeye and her tendency to be duplicitous, and even though that would seem a little too on-the-nose, that doesn't necessary mean it isn't true. The trailer, which featured a number of shots of Widow, seemingly played with those expectations in a brief exchange between the two former best friends. They're shown locked in battle, with Clint on top of Natasha. They pause, and the following exchange plays out: Black Widow: "Are we still friends?" Hawkeye: "It depends how hard you hit me." It's banter, but you have to suspect there's something more intended as deeper meaning - a case of hiding the truth in plain sight. If it doesn't turn out that Black Widow is a double agent, it would be surprising if she didn't swap sides at some point.
