7. Is Pepper Potts Done With The MCU?
The Question: After Pepper Potts doesn't show up in Civil War and is merely mentioned as being apparently split from Tony Stark, is she officially done with the MCU?
The Likely Answer: In honesty, it wouldn't be surprising if that was all she wrote for the character.
Though the Pepper-Tony dynamic was the one romance in the MCU that really worked, Tony's been doing just fine without her over the last three years since Iron Man 3.
Plus, considering how packed the roster is already going to be for the two Infinity War movies, it's not like a reconciliation between her and Tony should be on the list of dramatic priorities for the Russo brothers.
And finally, we're already kinda digging the set-up for a Tony-Aunt May relationship, and the serious comic potential that has as Spider-Man joins the Avenger line-up.
