Captain America: Civil War - 12 Biggest Questions We Want Answered

8. How Big A Part Will The Villains Play?

You'd be forgiven for forgetting that this movie will actually have proper villains in it, given that it's primarily focused on Captain America v Iron Man and, as it stands, either one of those could be considered the villain of the film. While that may be the case, there's still the not-so-little matter of both Crossbones and Baron Zemo. Frank Grillo will be reprising his role from The Winter Solider, with his character Brock Rumlow (badly injured in that film) becoming the villainous Crossbones, someone who will more than likely have Captain America in his sights. Indeed, set photos have shown the pair filming a fight scene together, but it's not clear when in the movie it'll take place, or how big a role he'll have. As for Zemo, he'll be played by Daniel Brühl, and his part in things is even less uncertain. There was a nod to him in the trailer, with a van reading 'Leipzig-Halle', his native home. How he fits into the film though remains to be seen, although it has been said he'll be different from the comics. Likely Answer: Crossbones will have a fight with Captain America at some point, but he won't be the most important villain in the film. Baron Zemo is likely to be very important, even if it's from a more working-in-the-shadows kind of role.
