Captain America: Civil War - 12 Biggest Questions We Want Answered

6. How Does Black Panther Fit Into Things?

Black Panther is one of the big, new, heroic additions to the MCU in Civil War, and the newcomer who'll have the biggest role in the film, at least based on what we saw of him in the trailer and his prominent role in the promotional artwork. Based on those things, it looks as though he'll be siding up with Tony Stark (based on the concept art). That does make some degree of sense, insofar as the balance of the two teams go (without him, it's pretty uneven), but it doesn't fit with previous reports of the character. Marvel chief Kevin Feige had previously said that Black Panther would be neutral in the war between Stark and Rogers, with his own agenda. Rumours have that as being out for revenge on Bucky, and that itself would fit with him appearing to team up with Tony Stark in order to get to Bucky. So, neutral, Team Stark, or something else entirely? Whatever he's doing, the one thing for sure is that he's gonna be the most bad-ass looking character in the movie while doing it. Likely Answer: I do think he'll be neutral, rather than outright siding with Tony Stark, but his actions will still probably serve to help Iron Man in his fight.
