Captain America: Civil War - 12 Biggest Questions We Want Answered

5. Is It Going To Tease Doctor Strange?

After Captain America: Civil War, the next Marvel film - and the only other one of 2016, before they move to an annual 3-film schedule next year - will be Doctor Strange, starring Benedict Cumberbatch as the Sorcerer Supreme. Doctor Strange had long been rumoured for his own outing before it was officially confirmed, and the biggest hint actually came in a Captain America film, with the name Stephen Strange mentioned in passing during The Winter Soldier. Now that his film is not only confirmed, but is the first one after Civil War, there's even more scope for him to get a mention in this film. After all, apart from that name drop, there hasn't been an awful lot of setup for the character, and as his will be one of the more otherworldly Marvel films you'd imagine the studio would want to give it some kind of springboard here, whether it's another reference in the film, a surprise cameo (admittedly that's unlikely, but you never know), or the post-credits scene. Likely Answer: It's a safe bet that there'll be something here, probably after the credits, which will set things up nicely for the film's November release.
