5. The Letter

When Civil War was announced, it became very clear that not all of the iconic moments could be redone: we wouldn't see the New Warriors unwittingly kill 620 people in New York, we wouldn't see Goliath die, or Punisher save Spider-Man, or Spidey unmasked.

But one of the key moments that tends to get forgotten is Sue Richards (AKA Invisible Woman) leaving Reed Richards to join Cap's underground rebellion. It's a moment that is almost certainly spiritually recaptured in Cap's departing letter to Tony.

While the message transmitted is somewhat different (Cap didn't mention sleeping with Iron Man one last time for the good of his immune system), it definitely feels like Cap's letter is a round-about homage to Sue's letter.
