Captain America: Civil War - 20 Best Reactions To The First Trailer

OH GOD THE FEELS.

Five days on, Captain America: Civil War's first trailer is still stealing the headlines. While you might have spouted your initial feelings on the teaser immediately, there was so much in there that warranted close examination and careful consideration that repeated viewings were essential. After all, you might have seen Scarlet Witch showing off her new flying skills, but did you notice Crossbones or Martin Freeman? It pays to be reserved and the landscape of reactions over the past five days has painted a very clear picture of the extra hype that is now attached to an already hotly anticipated movie. Inevitably, it hasn't all been incredibly positive (some blinkered DC Fanboys only have social media so they can be first to dampen expectations on every Marvel marketing release), but broadly, it looks like Marvel are going to have the billion dollar movie event they presumably hoped for. In honour of the hype train, here are the 20 best reactions to the first trailer from across the fan map...

20. Oh God, The Feels

Legitimately already the most devastating moment in the MCU. OK, so it didn't quite make sense, because Iron Man and Cap are far from real friends at any point to date (their relationship is more defined by macho dick-swinging and morality oneupmanship), but his hang-dog expression entirely sold the lie.

19. Some People Were A Little TOO Concerned About Bucky

To be fair though, if they kill Bucky at this stage, it would be an almighty kick in the teeth. So far, he's pretty much confirmed himself to be the MCU's Black Knight and having him replace Cap as the Civil War big casualty would be too raw.
