22. The Red Room

Just before Bucky is arrested following the excellent, improbable foot race between him, Cap, Black Panther and the entire Northern European fleet of Audi cars, he comes to blows with Black Widow and almost chokes her out.

In that brief moment, the pair share a hint to their shared history when Widow says "well, you could have at least recognised me" as Buck tries to kill her. While that might appear to be a call-back to their shared appearance in The Winter Soldier, it could also be a nod to the fact that the pair actually met at The Red Room where a brain-washed Bucky trained her and they shared a romantic fling.

It's a subtle moment, but it definitely feels weighted towards that history.
