Captain America: Civil War - 6 Deleted Scenes You Need To See
3. Black Panther & Natasha Sit-Down
What Happens? After intercepting the Winter Soldier and finding himself in UN custody, T'Challa is grilled by Black Widow, who is amazed at his reveal as the Black Panther and bemoans his reactive actions. The new King is pretty chill about it all, knowing he can outsmart the Avengers; at the end Everett Ross jumps in to reveal Bucky's going to be released to the Wakandans.
What Does It Add? It's more of T'Challa being awesome, pretty much; we get to see the strong logic working just underneath his highly-charged emotion and a sense of the political power Wakanda wields. It also factors into a minor sub-plot between Widow and Panther, with the pair keeping up a professional relationship until Natasha's turn in the airport scene.
So Why Was It Cut? Coming at a very plot-heavy part of the film, with Steve and Tony finally properly butting heads, this stands out as a less essential scene that, while giving more Black Panther, doesn't provide any information we don't see elsewhere.
