Captain America: Civil War - 7 Characters Who Absolutely WON'T Die

1. The Winter Soldier

Bucky Barnes AKA the Winter Soldier hasn't even got going as a heroic character yet, so there's definitely no chance of him being killed in Captain America: Civil War. Sebastian Stan's character is expected to be the long-term successor to Chris Evans as the new Captain America and Civil War will be the first time he appears as an actual superhero.

Sure, he was a decent man and a soldier in Captain America: The First Avenger, but he wasn't considered to be a superhero. Following the Avengers: Infinity War movies, when Captain America will almost certainly die, Stan will take over the mantle and see out his nine movie deal with Marvel wielding the famous red, white and blue vibranium shield.

This means that, as far as potentially perishing goes, Black Widow (admittedly unlikely), Hawkeye, Scarlet Witch, War Machine, Falcon, Sharon Carter, General Ross, Baron Zemo, Crossbones, whoever Martin Freeman is playing and everybody else currently stated as being in the movie are all fair game - and that's regardless of what some of their contracts might suggest.
