Captain America: Civil War - 8 Characters Who Will Be Totally Different

1. Tony Stark

If any character has recurring moral dubiousness in the MCU, it would be none other than Tony Stark himself. While possessing a generally good€™ nature and intent, along with wisecracking humour that holds the Avengers (and, in some cases, its audience) together, Age of Ultron especially paved the path for Tony to take a different route in the cinematic universe, his ambition and vision getting in the way of common sense and perhaps even his moral compass. This is the path down which Civil War is probably going to take us. Though Tony is a charismatic and highly likeable member of the team, it€™s pretty clear that he€™s going to become an unfavourable figure among our heroes, as he did in the comic books, in the next installment. Though the creation of Ultron gave everybody a clear idea of what exactly Tony Stark is capable of when actively trying to protect the world, this time around we€™re going to see Tony take a potential turn as a full-fledged antagonistic figure in the film. However, people are quick to judge Tony as the €œbad guy€ in Civil War: just like the Captain, he€™s simply standing for what he believes in. This means we€™re going to see less of the quips and jokes that made Iron Man famous again, and a more serious side of Tony Stark is going to emerge, one actually concerned with the legacy and mark that he and his team will make on the world. While Ultron definitely foreshadowed this side of Tony, with the gutting conflict between friends, it will definitely hold a little more weight over the playboy billionaire€™s head in the upcoming installment that will see Marvel€™s favourite character transformed.
