9. Ant-Man

Ant-Man hasn't been around for too long, he's new to the superhero gig, and he's still coming to terms with his powers in the grand scheme of things. That said, he proved himself to be capable of some rather insane power plays across the span of his first film outing; he even managed to defeat The Falcon - an Avenger - in battle, which instantly puts him above said character on a list based around power rankings. Ant-Man's very interesting and unique powers also mark him out as particularly essential; he can do a lot of things that other characters can't. Shrinking himself down in size and going inside the Falcon's suit to disconnect the cables was a stroke of genius on his part; on that basis, he'll likely prove a challenge to whoever ends up facing off against him.
