Captain America: Civil War - Ranking The Heroes In Order Of Being Most Likely To Die
12. Spider-Man
The wishes of every Marvel fan were realised earlier this year when, after lots of rumours, and getting hopes up only to have them dashed, it was announced that the rights for Spider-Man were heading home from Sony. Or rather, he still belongs to them, but Marvel can use him in the MCU, and there'll be a co-produced standalone film that will sort of fit into both Marvel and Sony's universes. The details are still a little fuzzy, but the tl;dr takeaway is that he's going to be appearing in Captain America: Civil War, and Tom Holland is playing him. Again, his role here will be different to what it is in the comics storyline, as the whole unmasking thing wouldn't work, and he's still going to be a high-schooler. What that amounts to is a rather glorified cameo from the web-slinger, but even so there's no way they're killing him off after waiting so long to get the rights back, especially with that 2017 movie locked-in as well.
NCTJ-qualified journalist. Most definitely not a racing driver. Drink too much tea; eat too much peanut butter; watch too much TV. Sadly only the latter paying off so far.
A mix of wise-old man in a young man's body with a child-like wonder about him and a great otherworldly sensibility.
