Captain America: Civil War Trailer - 8 Easter Eggs And References You Probably Missed

So why does Tony Stark say "bad guys"?

After years of slight teasing of a rift between Captain America and Iron Man, we're finally get to see them go to blows in Captain America: Civil War. And, after months of speculation, we've finally got our first look at the film, with the first trailer dropping earlier this week. And it's a pretty solid teaser. Nothing quite as giddying as last year's teaser for Avengers: Age Of Ultron, but enough to make me think the Russo brothers aren't one-trick ponies and are indeed going to deliver a solid follow up to 2014's standout Captain America: The Winter Soldier. What's remarkable is how story-heavy the tease is - that's not saying there's not plenty of action beats (and no doubt this is partially down to unfinished effects), but there's a strong focus on the movie's narrative and the personal motivations behind the conflict. It's rather apposite to the bombastic advertising behind Age Of Ultron and suggests we're in for a more character driven movie. All fine by me. We've already had a trailer break-down and a look at what the plot implications are, but what else is hidden in there? Marvel are notorious for peppering their movies with easter eggs shouting out to their illustrious print history and sowing clues for upcoming movies, and while we're obviously not coming out of this trailer knowing a major plot point from Doctor Strange, there are an awful lot of references and in-jokes hidden in there. Here are eight of the best.
