7. He's Team Iron Man

As someone who is 100% Team Iron Cap, I'd be lying to say I wasn't a little disappointed to see the wall-crawler siding with Tony Stark. However, it does make perfect sense when you think about it. Kevin Feige has previously confirmed that Spider-Man will have a homemade costume when we first meet him (I'd bet money on that one being kept under wraps until the release of the movie), so who better to get an upgrade from? The costumes worn by both Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield did not look like something a 16 year old kid could come up with without having thousands of dollars lying around, and that's why Iron Man being responsible for creating the youngster's costume is a smart direction to take things in in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Of course, there's absolutely nothing to say Spidey won't follow the comics by switching sides...
