8. Exterior Web-Shooters

Pause the trailer in the right place, and you'll notice that this Spider-Man's web-shooters are on the exterior of his costume. Unlike the other black areas on his biceps and boots - which seem to be a purely stylistic addition - it's almost as if he's wearing a wrist watch, and this design is quite a bit different to what we saw in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (and Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy where the hero's webbing was organic). However, these web-shooters are strikingly similar to how they were portrayed in the 1960s, and while the comics have often hidden them under the costume, Captain America: Civil War clearly won't be cheating. The Russo Brothers have definitely been inspired by the hero's Silver Age adventures, but it's worth noting that Ben Reilly wore his web-shooters on the exterior like this, so he too could have served as inspiration here.
