3. Somebody Seemingly Important Dies

"People are gonna die... I can't let that happen." Those are the words of Captain America in this trailer. Unfortunately for Steve Rogers, someone seemingly does. It seems to be highly implied that it could be Nick Fury who loses his life - what with S.H.I.E.L.D's director having his car upturned by the Winter Soldier and then being seen on an operating table - but with him also being seen talking whilst bearing some injuries and, more importantly, Samuel L. Jackson's contract with Marvel still ongoing, that seems extremely unlikely. So who could it be? Could it merely be a flashback to when Phil Coulson had been killed prior to his resurrection? Could it be another key member of S.H.I.E.L.D, like Robert Redford's Alexander Pierce? Could it be Anthony Mackie's Falcon? Or someone else entirely? We know it isn't Cobie Smulders' Maria Hill, as she's stood in the background (which would indicate it's someone from S.H.I.E.L.D who has passed). We shall have to wait to find out but, either way, it looks like someone fairly important falls.
